We Are the Story That Shapes Tomorrow
Our Vision & Mission
The Future We Strive to Build

Our Vision
To be an active part of rebuilding Syrian society in the post-conflict phase by supporting justice, promoting coexistence, and achieving equality and human dignity through sustainable civil and developmental initiatives.

Our Mission
We work to empower local communities by providing direct support in the fields of social cohesion, alternative education, transitional justice, and the empowerment of youth and women. We utilize media and awareness tools to amplify the voice of the community, enhance awareness, and restore the active civic role of individuals.
About us
Kanon Organization (SKF) is a civil, non-profit organization established in 2013 in the countryside of Damascus.
Since its inception, it has been continuously active in serving Syrian society and promoting social cohesion, justice, and human rights. The organization began its activities through the “Matar” media project and quickly evolved into a dynamic entity supporting the most vulnerable groups—especially women, children, and youth—in conflict-affected areas.
Through its diverse programs in media, alternative education, psychosocial support, and cultural development, Kanon aims to build a cohesive, just, and balanced civil society rooted in the values of dignity, equality, and empowerment.

Our Core Values
Our values are not just words—they are principles we live by every day.
We believe that justice, equality, and community cohesion are not only goals, but also the path we walk to build a more humane and dignified society.
Through these core values, we shape our vision and guide our work to always be a voice for the voiceless.
